Clean red cloth boards with blind-stamped decoration on cover, gold lettering on spine. No bumping or wear. Binding is tight & square, pages and edges are clean. Clean endpapers; no names, writing or marks. 346 pp. + index. Illustrated with black & white photographs. Dustjacket is not price clipped, has chips and closed tears. Enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover. The story of the world famous Palace Hotel in San Francisco, built in 1875 and destroyed by the earthquake and fire of 1906.
