sports fiction; Blue cloth stamped in navy blue. Early edition, no date to title page, 1941 to CP. Inscribed to title page by Rice to Gene Fowler, an American journalists, author, and dramatist. Also laid in is a Western Union telegram to the Fowlers from the Rices dated 1941. A square tight copy, spine ends faintly pushed. The DJ in mylar is near fine or better with a trace of edgewear. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; Signed by Author.
