Number 637 of 1,000 numbered sets signed by the author. 28 volumes. Octavo, red gilt original dust jackets with decorative medallion on front. Top edges gilt, fore- and bottom edges untrimmed. Book plate on front paste-down endpaper. Uniquely, each volume with its own red cloth slipcase with leather gilt title labels. Some mild wear on dust jackets. Rare find with each volume cased. Fine, tight volumes and attractive set. Size: 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall.
