Limited to 150 copies signed by the author, of which this is one of 122 copies printed on Mohawk Letterpress Text. A very faint stain on the front cover, else a near fine copy. Printed by Bernard Taylor and features ten linoleum engravings in color. Also printed by Brian Schneider and Mary Chenoweth. Bound by Pam and Don Rash. Series and press devices are wood engravings by John DePol. Part of the Bucknell University Fine Editions Series on Contemporary Poetry. Set in 16 point Spectrum and printed on a Vandercook No. 4. Royal 8vo (261 x 174mm): 47,[1]pp, with linoleum engravings in color by Barnard Taylor. Publisher's tan quarter-calf over beige paper-covered pictorial boards, spine lettered in gold, tan end papers, title page in red and black, original unprinted acetate jacket. Signed by Kumin at the colophon. Spine lightened a degree or two, top edge briefly spotted, else Fine. Kumin was awarded the Pulitzer Prize in 1973, and served as Poet Laureate Consultant in Poetry to the Library of Congress in 19811982. She is thought to be the last person to have seen the poet Anne Sexton alive; the two were close friends, and had had lunch the day of Sexton's suicide, in 1974. N. B.
