Number 46 of 370 copies signed by Aidan Mackey & Richard Ingrams, printed in Bembo on Zerkall paper. Portrait frontispiece and 16 pencil drawings. Quarter cloth, gilt, with patterned paper sides and matching slipcase. A fine copy. Chesterton made these entertaining drawings for the daughters of literary editor Archibald Marshall while he and they invented stories around them. As the stories were lost, Aidan Mackey wrote new ones to fit the pictures.
