Originally published as a Tor paperback, so per ISFDB this Tor/SFBC book club edition is the first hardcover edition. The front endpaper of this book is signed by editor David Hartwell, with his inscription to Austin, Texas bookseller Willie Siros, "to Willie / Ths is the 1st copy of this edition I've been asked to sign. Nov 6, 1993". This book and its dust jacket are still in fine "as new" condition. Its binding is tight and square, with no spine crease. Cover are unmarked and unworn. Pages are unworn and otherwise unmarked. Its dust jacket, now protected by a removable mylar cover, is bright, whole, unmarked, and unworn. I will ship this book in a moisture proof zip-loc bag, padded in bubble wrap, inside a sturdy box to assure it reaches its new owner in the same condition as my description.

Terms of sale
Terms of Sale are per ABE Books standards and your national consumer laws.
Shipping terms
- Items will be carefully packaged to assure they arrive as described.
- All shipments will be via US Postal Service unless requested otherwise. Standard shipping within the USA will be via USPS Media Mail. Priority shipping within the USA will be via USPS First Class Mail.
- My current Standard shipping rate within the USA is US$4.00 for the first book, and US$2.00 for additional books in the same order.
- There are two situations where I will refund to the buyer a portion of the postage charged by ABEBOOKS: (1) Separate orders placed on the same date for shipment to the same address will be shipped together, so I will refund half of the postage paid for the first book in each such second and subsequent order. And (2) Books described as "paperbacks" in my descriptions weigh less than other books, so I will refund US$1.00 of the paid shipping fee for the 2nd and subsequent paperbacks in the same order shipping to the same address.
- Please contact me via ABE if you have any questions or special requests about packing and shipment, such as insurance or shipment by carriers other than US Postal Service. I will be happy to work with you if my standard policies need adjustment or exceptions.
