Padraic Colum (1881-1972) was a leading figure in the Irish Literary Revival; a poet, dramatist, and critic, both a friend and editor of James Joyce. He left Ireland before the Revolution and had a long and distinguished career in the United States. Originally published by Macmillan in 1932; this copy the Second Printing of a revised edition with new materical. Decorative paper-covered boards with a green linen spine and gilt lettering. Clean text; 214 pages, with Notes. This copy has been SIGNED and INSCRIBED by the author on the FFEP. Bookplate on the front paste-down Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Seller Inventory # 002572
