INSCRIBED AND DATED ON RELEASE DATE (11/27/99) BY THE AUTHOR ON THE FRONT PASTEDOWN; also numbered ("Book # 137" by the author though there is no indication in the book of a limitation)The book opens with an historical essay on Stangl predecessor Fulper Pottery of Flemington, New Jersey which in turn traced it's beginning to Hill Pottery in 1815. Martin Stangl merged with Fulper in 1926 and assumed full ownership in 1930.
