Hubly (dated Aug. 3, 1905) very good The author, former Principal of Hampton Superior School in St John, New Brunswick, enlisited October 1899 and fought at the Battle of Paardeberg. He died on his return to Canada in 1901 from an illness contracted during service overseas.
