1970 reprint edition, originally published 1947 by Charles Scribner's Sons, Inscribed to a former owner, Signed by the Editor John McDonald and Dated "November 15, 1989" on the half title page, turning to the next page at upper left is Inscribed to the same former owner and Signed by Art Flick, very light dusting/soiling to top/bottom edges of text block, no dust jacket as issued in a very good slipcase with light soiling to the title sheet and just a touch of rubbing to corners, "This edition is limited to nine hundred fifty of which this is copy number____" blank no copy number filled in.
