This is copy No. 18. [signed]: Michael Gutzwiller". 8 inches x 12 3/4 in., title-page; Prefatory Note by Ezra Pound (from Ripostes, 1912); unpaginated [24]pp., with three mounted drawings, done in black ink and colors. Sewn into a specially made tan-gray paper wrapper,(with the maker's watermark on the front cover of this copy), with the author's name stamped in gold on the front cover (the deckled fore-edge of the paper cover show a tiny split to the edge). Preserved in a sturdy, tan-gray linen cloth-covered, drop-back box with a mounted, gray paper title label, with author's name in gilt, on the spine of the slipcase. Very scarce item, and one of the finest productions of The Bits Press. Titles of the five poems printed: Autumn; Mana Aboda; Above the Dock; The Embankment; Conversion. Followed by a short biographical & bibliographical afterword. Loosely inserted is the prospectus. Weight: 2 1/2 lbs.
