Stout 8vo. Pp. 653. Foreword by Mark Van Doren. Beige half cloth over marbled paper covered boards, titles stamped in blue on the spine, head edge gilt, colored endpapers and preliminary leaf. Edition limited to 2000, this copy hand numbered 266 and signed in ink by Newquist and Van Doren. In the black paper covered slipcase with titles and interviewees printed in black on mounted goldenrod label: corners rubbed, light scuffing. Sixty-three one-hour interviews with authors, columnists and publishers about "their working philosophies.".

Our store is located in downtown Seattle's Pioneer Square neighborhood and is open seven days a week. In our on-going effort to provide a diversified inventory, we are acquiring fine and unusual books. From incunabula to 20th Century literature, from journals of voyages to autograph letters, no book or manuscript is beyond our purview. Orders from residents of Washington State subject to 10.1% sales tax.
All books are packed and shipped within 24 hours of receipt of order. Every book is professionally packaged in a heavy cardboard box and shipped via US Postal Service, fully insured. Shipping rates are $3.50 per book; an additional $1 for every book thereafter. Sets and oversized volumes might require additional postage – indication of such will be noted in the book description. Those orders ship at cost, as do international orders, for which shipping will be determined per sale. Other shipping modes are available per arrangement. Institutions will be billed per requirements.

Shipping terms
All books are shipped well-packed in cardboard boxes. Domestic US orders priced at $3.50 per order. Insurance for sales $75 and above included. International shipping expense is at cost, to be offered prior as a condition of sale -- buyer may choose to decline transaction if international shipping is too expensive, once that's determined.
