This is in all communities, and the Wiccan Community is no different. It takes a certain kind of person to step into the position of birthing a Wiccan Community. High Priestesses are a dime a dozen, but good ones are rare jewels. To be a High Priestess is to remove the "me" and place service to the community above all else. And it is a full time job. In this book, the child Am is grown, and she is once again on a path of discovery. We are presented with many of the trials and tribulations that one would encounter on a journey to becoming a somewhat reluctant High Priestess. Am finds that she is not just becoming a spiritual person, but she is helping others to find that same path within themselves, which makes her a very special person indeed. We find that spirituality will lead us to all sorts of places and will include all sorts of personal experiences. We watch as Am is pulled forward in her path by wise women of the craft and the Gods themselves. We the lessons, joys, and sorrows, of Am's journey. Millie presents us with her journey into the Wiccan Community and she tells us the fascinating story of how she became High Priestess and how she fills a much needed space in her own community. The Chantry of the Silver Veil continues today and Millie is still teaching her students, evolving the process as her students evolve in their spiritual paths. Walk a little further with Millie and Am down the road of the Craft and touch once again the love that is passed on from one generation to another, to be passed along from teacher to students.
