Add to basketFront cover is very chipped and stained and the back cover (which also has chipping) has a rectangular sunning pattern. The staplebound cover feels quite fragile and brittle. This individually printed journal article, which first appeared in volume 40(1) of the Yale Law Journal, is inscribed by Arnold on the front, "The only extant autographed copy presented to my valued friend and co-worker for the betterment of the law, Philo C. Calhoun. Thurman Arnold". Calhoun (not to be confused with his more famous ancestor of the same name) was a noted anti-trust attorney during the early 20th century. A fascinating and unique historical piece of law ephemera.
