pp. (3), 324, (17). Artist?s book illustrated with reproductions of Gerhard Richter?s colour photographs of details of his abstract painting no. 648-2, from 1987. Working on a long table over a period of several weeks, Richter combined these 10 x 15 cm details with 165 texts on the Iraq war, published in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung of March 20 and 21, 2003. Also with an index of the printed texts, and a remark by Richter. Published in an edition of 2400 numbered copies, this is one of the first 150 copies, signed in blue pen by Richter on the colophon page. [Ref. Hubertus Butin, Stefan Gronert & Thomas Olbricht - Gerhard Richter Editions 1965-2013, no. 124, p. 295]. Original flexible red cloth, with titles imprinted in black. A fine copy.
