Protected by a removable Brodart clear-plastic sleeve (removed for photos). Sharp corners. NOT a remainder. Bright, clean, square, and tight. Pages are creamy white and crisp -- probably never read. The story of a missing million dollar Aztec statue lost in New York. The jacket art by Joel Schick is very colorful and attractive. The dust jacket is about 1/8" shorter than the book, apparently as with all copies. Bound in the original cream color cloth with bright green and gold lettering/designs on spine. About the Author

Donald E. Westlake (1933-2008) wrote over a hundred novels under his own name and pseudonyms, including Richard Stark. Many of his books have been made into movies, including The Hunter, which became the brilliant film noir Point Blank, and the 1999 smash hit Payback. The winner of the three Edgar Awards, he was named a Mystery Writers of America Grand Master, the highest honor bestowed by the society, in 1993.
