Add to basketInscribed Copy of this military memoir by one of the leading American generals of the World War II, Korean War, and early Cold War eras, General Mark Clark. This volume, Clark's second memoir, centers mainly on his roles as a top American military leader during the Korean War and general geopolitical efforts to stem advance of world Communism between the end of World War II and the truce that halted fighting in Korea. Inscribed by General Mark Clark to a previous owner on the half title page. Cloth, 356 pages, illustrated. Second Printing of the British edition. Has a previous owner (the person to whom the book is inscribed) name stamped on the back endpaper. Has foxing on the several pages at front. The copyright page has a strip of black tape placed by the publisher to evidently obscure inaccurate information that had been typeset. The back of the tape creates a tanned strip on the title page. The dust jacket has a bit of edge wear.
