Savannah Blue, a Great Dane, has made a new friend, a little girl named Calla Ruth. Unfortunately, they live far away from each other. In order to stay close they become pen pals.
In this first letter we are introduced to Savannah Blue. With love, humor, and wisdom she explores her world. We learn, as does Savannah Blue, that others can help us grow and that friendship can endure no matter the distance.
