SIGNED and inscribed by the author on the front end paper. The Rickert (Rickerd) family came to the US as German immigrants in the early 1700's. The genealogical research in this book clearly has taken a tremendous amount of time and effort. Much on the family members in New York and Michigan. This book appears to have been self-published, possibly in Grosse Pointe, Michigan by the author. Bound in the original publisher's red cloth binding wit black spine and cover lettering. Contains a name index in the rear. This is a nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings. This book appears to have been unread and shelved since new. It is a book that is not often encountered. ; Maps; 8vo, 8"- 9" tall; 482 pages.
