Appears unread. No marks or inscriptions. No creasing to covers or to spine. A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked moire cloth boards and no bumping to corners. 22pp. Orginally published in 1770, this poem laments the depopulation of the countryside and the pursuit of excessive wealth. The frontispiece by Peter S Carter illustrates how things change whilst remaining the same. Signed by Peter S Carter above the illustration. No 21 of a Limited Edition of 50 from a total print run of 160 hand bound copies. We do not use stock photos, the picture displayed is of the actual book for sale.
