Hardback. Signed by Robert Graves. Limited edition. Bound in full dark red Morocco. Limited edition of 400 bound in Morocco and a further 350 in buckram. This is number 146 and has been signed by Robert Graves to the limitation notice at the rear. Black and white frontis portrait by H. A. Freeth RA. Inscribed at the front as present to Leslie Newman by the Marlborough College Press, Sun Inn, Marlborough. Leather is a little rubbed to spine ends and corners. There is a hint of uneven fading to leather over rear board. Slight cracking to endpapers (seems to be a common fault with this publication). Clean and sound. Very good copy.
