Synopsis
From the age of four until the present, Cheryl Stewart has struggled with Kidney Disease, which has taken her through some of life's trenches as it relates to her health. In this book, she will walk you through her journey from a little girl faced with medical challenges that plagued with fear, to the strong, fearless, and courageous woman of God she is today. Though she has faced some very difficult challenges, her faith, mindset and support system is what helped her to triumph in many faces of adversity. She reminds us that challenges are just what they are; and with a renewed sense of hope, they can and will be overcome.
About the Author
Meet Cheryl Denise Stewart, a Former Social Insurance Specialist for the Social Security Administration and first time author. She is a B.A. in Psychology; M.H.S. in Addictions Studies holder with a passion in Medicine after being part of the medical field as a patient since the age of 4yrs old. Cheryl desires to have a career in the field of medicine based on her own personal experiences as a dialysis and transplant patient, as platform to educate and share with patients battling this disease. Her greatest inspiration is to help people struggling with End Stage Renal Disease, which includes dialysis patients and those who have had, or are waiting for kidney transplants. Having gone through the same and also not working in 8yrs due to a kidney disease was an eye-opener for her and thus would like to help others in the same way people have been helping her. Her major interest is gaining more knowledge about the disease she suffers from, how it can be cured and any other medical related information. She loves spending time with her husband of 15yrs and her daughters ages 14 and 11, who have been her source of strength and motivation. Additionally, reading information on financial literacy, music, clipping coupons and creating a stockpile for her family to save money.
