This novel shows the relationships which develop between a man of peace kidnaped from his own world, and the warriors who rescue him from death on the world into which he was kidnaped.

"The first time I remember thinking about writing books was when I was twelve years old, and my life has revolved around writing and books ever since. I have written poetry, short stories, essays, shows, and songs, and had some of each of those published. Now I have published my first novel. It is a fantasy adventure titled OTHER DOORS. "Of course there have been other things that support my writing because, as we all know, anyone who thinks they will get rich, or even feed themselves on a regular basis with their writing is more than likely destined to disappointment. To support my writing I have held a lot of jobs, of which the most important has been house husband and father, but also including carpenter, laborer, cement finisher, taxi driver, radio disk jockey, actor, cook, and guitar bum. But chiefly I have supported myself by marrying well. My wife is a Master Sergeant in the US Air Force and so for ten of the last twenty years I have lived in Europe. Three years in Spain near Madrid (1977-80), Four years near Frankfurt Germany (1983-87), and three years in Italy near Venice (1993-96).
