This is Kents version of events on a voyage to Greenland, which ended in a shipwreck in Karajak Fjiord (there were other accounts, at variance with his), with his distinctive artwork gracing every other page or so. Arctic Bib. 8541 describes it as an "Account of this artist's voyage to Greenland in 1929 with Arthur S. Allen, Jr. and another American, in the sailboat Direction." Toy 543 says, "Beautifully illustrated by the author. Imaginative and episodic." This is #209 in a limited edition of 900 copies, signed by Kent. Very good condition in blue boards with silver decoration, with publisher's slipcase which shows light wear and fading to spine label.
