Signed by Author(s)449 pages (complete). A most pleasing copy. Hand numbered (by the author) 140 of a limited deluxe edition of 1500. Signed by Barbara Cole on the certification page. Also signed by three members of the regiment (Capt C Willis SCR BCR, Capt R C MacKenzie SCR BCR) and Lt Pete Cole.)Importantly Rob Mackenzie is known in the book as 'Bob Mckenna' he was a legend in the unit. he died in Sierra Leone in 1995. The book is housed in a board slipcase (this is worn and a little battered but is still competent and effective to purpose). Fully bound in blue leather. The front cover has a badge affixed (one wing of which has been broken off and is missing). The cover is smart and very healthy. The spine has gilt titling that is bright and confident. The pages are edged in gilt (this is very bright and in excellent condition). Included: a blue leather, title-branded bookmarker. The frontispage has an ex-libris/ gift label (from Randal Foster and his wife, Shelagh) attached. The frontispage and regimental signature page have slight wear and marking. Otherwise the contents are very clean, very tidy, companionable, diligent, exceptionally competent. A great gift or copy to embellish a collection. fk.
