A group of five pen and ink sketches of scenes in the hunting field. On lightweight paper attached to backing sheets, each of which is signed lower right. Images average about 5 x 7 1/2 inches. 1 vols. Evidently the work of an enthusiastic amateur, these drawings are of more than routine interest as they appear to be caricatures of actual people. In one of them, a group of hunters are conversing with several gunners, including a carefully depicted sportsman in French military uniform who appears to be somebody of importance, and other scenes show an equal attention to local physiognomies.
