1st ed. 302pp Illus diagrams, maps etc. A highly regarded book on the subject. There is evidence of damp along the top edge towards the back. Thr back spine joint is splitting but the binding is firm enough. The boards are sl. rubbed but overall a near VG copy. There is an inscription on the ffep which reads " Col. the Hon. H. Mostyn with the author's compliments. In grateful appreciation of a memorably happy visit to Bodysgullen? - May 1922.".
