Hardcover. Bound in pictorial paper over boards with white and red lettering. Covers are clean with minimal wear. Binding is tight and secure. Pages are clean and crisp with light uniform toning. Printed in B&W with illustrations throughout. 452 pages. Copyright page dated 1979. Signed by author in blue ink on title page, inscribed "To Lincoln Brower, with friendship, Francisco Ayala, Boulder, June 1979." A very nice copy. We ve got a wonderful bookcase or two of books from Lincoln Brower s collection listed here. Everything you know about Monarch Butterflies, you know because of Brower s work, both scientific and outreach. He was a great teacher, an important researcher, a torch-bearing conservationist, and a leading light in lepidoptery. We are extremely excited to offer his books. Regular shipping by USPS Media Mail is $4. MEDIA MAIL SHIPPING DOES NOT INCLUDE TRACKING.
If you'd like tracking, please let us know before you place the order - We're happy to do it but it costs $1 extra because it means we have to print a shipping label for it individually, slowing down the shipping process considerably -- and we want to be able to keep basic shipping costs as low as we can.
