Typescript The Flouers OÕ Edinburgh Ð playwrightÕs own heavily annotated and revised typescript but complete and still quite sound , rather battered, with letter signed by McLellan lending out the copy Ô please let me have the script back when you are finished with itÕ. Wolrdcat shows the play was published by Calder in an edition of Robert McLellan's Collected Plays and also lists a 'Prompt Copy' with flowers spelling which oddly is held in no libraries. Many changes in red biro, mostly shortish. Loosely inserted typed signed letter to David Campbell, BBC, Edinburgh,dated 17th February 1978. Forwarding the copy and describing as "a Gateway acting script with the revisions I made when I prepared it for copying by the typist working for the Lyceum." Also loosely inserted Edinburgh People's Theatre programme for 'Toom Byres' by Robert McClellan, with cast list. Large 8vo.pp. 117. Original wraps in green, with a small 'Edinburgh Gateway Co Ltd' stamp on the front cover and h/w note 'revised for Lyceum.RMcL. 'what Very good.
