This edition of the four Gospels consists of 1500 copies printed for the members of the limited editions club by Poeschel & Trepte in Leipzig, Germany it is designed and decorated by Emil Rudolf Weiss of which this is number 1204. And Signed By the Designer And Decorator Emil Rudolf Weiss initials. Slipcase, no tears shows minor wear and soiling some scratches to the back panel still very solid and useful for protection of the text. Leafs are handmade and throughout there is some foxing and to the inside front and back covers. Text remains bright and clean, binding is secure, a solid collectible book. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
