Printed letterpress by Adrian Wilson and Lucy Dines on Ingres mouldmade paper; beautifully illustrated with lineoleum block prints in up to four covers. An edition of 275 copies. An endearing tale of a boy who charms the kings of the jungle, a lion, an elephant, a monkey and and snake. Joyce and Adrian met during World War II at the concientious objector camp in Waldport, Oregon. Adrian Wilson became an influential printer in the San Francisco Bay Area. A beautiful book, and seriously underappreciated. First edition (first printing). A fine copy in wrappers (paperback) in a fine unprinted Japanese paper dust jacket.
