Laid in is an ALS from Herlihy 'Dear Bud, I'm sorry I gave such an erroneous impression that evening in Hollywood. I recall being low on energy and felt a bit of a bust myself. But you are a splendid, affirmative and bright companion on any occasion. It is hard, though, to get a new friendship off the ground with such distances between our domiciles.
