Book has been rebound with an engraving of Goethe by John Sertain, an extra 36 p. pamphlet from an 1833 issue of the Edinburg review written on "Hayward's translation of Faust" & an 83 p. pamphlet "A few remarks on Mr. Haywards English translation of Goethe's Faust" by D. Boileau bound in. Leather missing from spine. Covers detatched & first few pages have come loose. Size: 8vo - over 7�" - 9�" tall.
