262p quarto, illustrated by Lynd Ward and signed by him on his woodcut /frontispiece and signed by the translator on the colophon. Limited to 501 copies this copy #445. A very good copy , top edge gilt, previous owner;s name on front fly leaf , small personal library sticker partially removed on inside front panel. Light discoloration at the spine head, , sine sunned. Light horizontal mark on each board caused by slipcase which is rubbed. Nicer than it sounds.
