About the Author

Tom Blake is a columnist for The Orange County Register in southern California. He has written more than 600 newspaper columns on middle-age dating and relationships, and has appeared on the Today show as an expert on dating after 50. Tom and Dr. Ruth Westheimer are the only speakers scheduled to discuss dating and relationships at the national AARP convention in Chicago in September, 2003.

A native of Jackson, Michigan, Tom has a Master�s Degree in business from The University of Michigan and a BA degree from DePauw University, Greencastle, Indiana. He lives in San Clemente, Calif.
