E A Purle was born and raised in Lincoln, Lincolnshire. He transitioned into writing after 15 years working in technical theatre and a stint in the building industry. Throughout the latter part of his recent career, the urge to create resurfaced, so he took pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard) and began to write what is now Firestone, the first book in the Lore of Tellus series. Outside writing, he lives with his wife, two children and their dog, Tuesday.
