A membership annual dues slip for the year 1973, 8-1/2 by 5-1/2 inches, for First Fandom, an association of Science Fiction fans, sent to Isaac Asimov, with typed original comments by him at the bottom. According to their website, there are several categories of membership; 'A dinosaur is one who was active in science fiction or fannish activities on or before the First World Science Fiction Convention held over the July 4, 1939, weekend in New York City.' Folded once, and with some edgewear and light tanning. With typed comments at the bottom and signed 'Isaac Asimov.' 'What happens when we're all dead? Already we're all fiftyish at the very least. Do we just die? Or do we lower the year of entry one year each year so as to make anyone eligible who has been active in fandom for thirty years?' With ink notation in one corner 'Answered 3/5.' A unique piece of science fiction memorabelia.
