Over time he became very successful and was an influential member of the Austin Jewish community. The book is derived from articles about him from the Texas Jewish Press in the early 1940s, interviews with the Novy family and other contemporaries, documents and photos from the Novy family, material from the LBJ Presidential Library, and other sources. Signed by the editor (signature only) on the title page. Minimal wear. A very good or better copy.
