First limited edition, one of 25 copies in full blue morocco leather signed by John Updike & Mary Steichen Calderone. 24 black & white photographs by Steichen on the theme of childhood objects. The original 1930 book was produced for Steichen's daughter. Afterword by Updike. Preface by Calderone Steichen. Two original photogravures by Steichen bound in & two prints of the same images in folders. As new book in an as new publisher's slipcase. A beautiful copy.
