Fine. A remarkably scarce title, warmly signed and inscribed by the author (seemingly to close friend) on the title page: "To __, Thanks for being such a wise, supportive friend all these years. I hope you fancy my weird little tale.and remember to be sure to eat your eyes! Your buddy, Michael Housel 2/20/15". Presumed first edition. Glossy illustrated softcover. 144 pp. In 1963, aliens visit Earth to capture Franklin Beacon, whose physiological constitution is ripe for mutation. They believe he harbors the ability to destroy an invading life form, which cleanses their homeworld via light. The aliens maintain their existence, pasts, and cultures by consuming their fallen's eyes, stored in flasks. Beacon must eat them in order to transform. If matters go awry, a dystopian afterworld will rise.
