This book contains a letter to Mr. Charles A. Lindbergh from Henry D. Brown, Director of Detroit Historical Museum , dated April 8, 1959.The letter is a request for Lindbergh to sign the book for a Mrs. Wilson W. Mills a past president of the Historical Society and a daughter of Hazen S. Pingree, mayor of Detroit and former Governor of Michigan. Mr. Lindbergh obligingly inscribed the book to " To Mrs. Wilson W. Mills with best wishes from Charles A. Lindbergh"The book is not a first and the dust jacket is a bit rough bot wrapped in a new Brodart and the inscription is fresh and clear on the title page.; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; Signed by Author.

The First Edition, too , is a small ,seasonal, cabin bookstore located between a state forest and a national forest in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I have been in business for 45 years and specialize in Great Lakes and Michigan history.
