About this Item

A very good copy of the first edition. One of 69 numbered copies signed by the author. This is copy number 69. Bound in a brown cloth spine over lighter brown cloth boards. The binding is generally in very good condition, although there are damp stains to the lower parts of the boards. This staining does not intrude into the contents. Everything is square, solid and uncracked. Top edges gilt. The contents are bright and clean, with many of the pages being uncut. No ownership inscriptions or other markings of any other kind.
