Burgundy leatherette simulating animal hide, titles & decorations in gilt; 679pp in 2 volumes; illustrated with b/w photos plus fold-out maps at rear; all edges gilt; sewn in ribbon bookmarks; 2-compartment slipcase; limited to 1000 numbered (#691) copies signed by publisher. Quality reprints of the original editions of 1924 & 1928. Much big game hunting for Africa's big-5 as well as lesser game. A near fine set with light flecking to spine gilt decorations o/w internally near fine. The slipcase shows light handling wear. A desirable Amwell production.
