The only mystery novel by the former newspaper reporter (Hubin.) Gently bumped with just a touch of rubbing to the extremeties. Top of the text block faintly foxed. Jacket rubbed and edgeworn with chips and tears, most notably a 1 1/2" tear from the lower front panel. Spine sunned, rear panel a bit soiled, in mylar. Inscribed on the front free end paper "For Kay and Lou with appreciation for the many hours we spent together - Rufus Heed." Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" Tall.
