The ink from the signature has transferred slightly to the inside of the front cover. Binding sound. 192pp. Many colour illustrations. Renowned designer Kaffe Fassett (b.1937) has often been asked where he finds the source material for his brilliant knitting and needlepoint designs. This book provides the answer with a collection of design sources including paintings, ceramics, textiles and beadwork. Fassett illustrates the point in this book by giving his own knitting and needlepoint interpretations of some of the pieces.
