Grey textured cloth covers with gold lettering, unmarred. No marring, highlighting, or notes to glossy pages or sketches. Spine Square, binding tight with exception of pages 23-26 with bottom one inch of page separated, but rest of page remains securely attached. Page 142 shows some smudging. Very slight rippling on very few glossy pages (up to page 20). no water marks or stains. dust jacket protected by mylar. Limited edition. Fashion Designer's inscription on first end page, translated from Greek, "To Grace that I love so much." Grace most likely refers to the designer's statement. "First of all, I think, we are granted a 'grace', a 'charisma' which cannot be explained. Then comes everything else . . ." This book is a collection of 76 Greek traditional folk costume sketches designed by Mr. Ghalatis, world renowned fashion designer and artist/actor/'singer, born in Athens in 1946 and who makes his home on his beloved island of Mykonos. The designs are free creations inspired by folk art, traditional local costumes, nature, the sea, and the sky, and each one named after a Greek location or influence. Seller Inventory # 000709
