Fidia Gambetti (1911-1996), giornalista e scrittore, prima fascista e poi altrettanto fervente comunista, fu poeta laureato dal Fascismo. Prigioniero in Russia, dove si "convert�", tornato in Patria, collabor� con tutte le testate del Partito. In questo libro � riunita, in ordine cronologico, tutti " i versi vissuti, sofferti scritti.'per causa di guerra'. ripresi da precedenti raccolte, pi� che mai inediti e attuali". Una 'plaquette', come la definisce lo stesso poeta, rara.
