Anthony Somerhough was a barrister involved in the investigation and prosecution of war crimes after the war. He lead the War Crimes Investigation Unit at Bad Oeynhausen.

I have been selling books since 1988. I stock a wide selection of antiquarian and academic titles. My personal interest is in medieval history and women's history. I also have stock from my late husband and business partner Philip who specialized in books on China and Japan. The name of our business was inspired by the name of the place where we live. Purbook means Goblin haunted brook, though I have as yet to meet the goblin.
