Signed by Pat George who did the book's illustrations. Introduction by John Alevras. Color photo of Van Egan laid-in with his signature in facsimile (Van passed away shortly before the book's publication). With a delightful biography of Van Egan written by Valerie Haig-Brown. Text illustrations throughout. Introductory essay titled "Roderick Haig-Brown" penned by Van especially for this edition. This limited edition is based on Van's initial inventory of Haig-Brown's tackle made in 1978. Living on the south bank of the Campbell River, Van Egan and the Haig-Browns were dear friends and neighbors for many years. The H-B tackle collection is listed under the categories of Rods - Reels and Lines - Fly and Fly Boxes - Bait and Bait Boxes - Leader Boxes - Fishing Vests - Staff, Nets, etc. - Line Dryers - Miscellaneous - Storage Boxes. With the book's prospectus laid-in. Also a note from John Alevras, laid-in. The book is bound in green cloth with gilt titles and a gold silhouette of Roderick Haig-Brown on the front cover.
