Inscribed by author to Herbert Fleishhacker, member of prominent San Francisco family. He built Fleishhacker Pool, worlds largest outdoor swimming pool in 1924. Also founded San Francisco zoo. Dated 1939 and signed in both English and Japanese characters. illustrated with 345 illustrations and 10 color plates with tissue guards. 525 pages includes index and followed by a color map showing the distribution of japanese arts. 7¾" - 9¾.
